Entry 69: Vampire vs. Vampire

I just came across a piece of news that says The Last Vampire by Christopher Pike will be made into a movie. Well, for starters, this is one of my all time favourite book. It comes in a series of 6 books, but I have to say I love the first book the most. The rest doesn’t even come close. In fact, it could be my all time favourite novel.

The main character in the book, Sita, to me, is like the coolest person ever. Yes, I know I’m warbling like a 13 year old girl, but that’s how old I was when I read this book. And I still think she’s cool. She kicks ass man! She uses guns. She knows martial arts. She’s a GIRL. I so wanted to be like her. And the fact that she’s immortal, well… Yes, other people at 13 wanted to be doctors or lawyers. I wanted to be a vampire who kicked ass and used Uzis while doing somersaults to kill.

There’s also another reason why I love this book. I formed a bond with someone over this book. We both love vampires. We love Sita. And for a while I was his Sita and he was my Ray (Ray is the name of Sita’s human love interest). We both wished we were vampires. We were 16. We were dumb. But we formed a bond nonetheless.

Twilight can’t even come close to the awesomeness of the characters and story in this book. This book has depth. It has dimensions. The characters grow. I was able to relate to the characters. I was able to reflect. Twilight was a flat piece of repetitive writing. Twilight sucked.

I hope they portray every single scene in the movie exactly the same way it was written in the book. I hope I can feel 13 again when watching this movie.

Ray, we so have to watch this together.

Entry 68: 3 weeks 3 days

Terasa gemuk sekarang. Makan kuih banyak. Hari Rabu = pasar malam. Huwaa~

Misi 2 minggu sebelum kawen = PUASA. Yeah.

I’m excited. Tengah tunggu veil sampai. Lepas tu nak jahit manik. Sendiri. Whee~ Hebat tak sayer? Pengantin serba boleh. Whoot. Nak jahit simple2 je. Janji berat veil tu nanti, so dia jatuh cantik je.

Baju belah lelaki sedang di alter. Agak besar *ehem-ehem* :p Cantikkk~ Cuma agak pendek. So harus padankan dengan veil labuh itu. Oh. Oh. Can’t wait to see it all put together.

Kasut on the way. I hope they get it right. Kejap nak letak manik. Nak letak batu. Kejap nak letak lace. Last2 cakap apa2 la, janji cantik, and warna sama. Oh, nak jadikan cerita. Went to the shop in City 1 Plaza in Jalan TAR yesterday. The tailor who initially took my measurements quit it seems. Lepas tu dia kata baju semua dh siap. pegi la kedai. Kalau ada masalah deal dgn tuan kedai. Hurm.

So pegi secara EL ke kedai.

Oh, sebelum itu, En Tunang *skrg maybe dh boleh move ke Bakal Suami kot* :p

Bakal Suami hantar pegi kerja, then bawak kereta pergi service *saaaayang abg*

Oh! Piah ku! Ada org langgar. Huwaa~ Sedey woo. Dasyat lak tu. Tsk Tsk.

Anyways… (sedey lg ni) went to the kedai, tried on the baju. Besa. Had to wait around for the new tailor to come and take new measurements. Time tunggu2, datang lah mamat ni, dgn tunang kot. Mamat tu melayu, perempuan tu mcm mamak. Xkan adik beradik @ family kot? So dia datang. Mula2 cakap slow2 la. And then tiba2, dia try baju, dia keluar, tetiba bising. Mula maki hamun org kedai tu. Kesian gak tgk org kedai tu. Dah la guna ayat ntah hape2. Siap threaten nak tutup kedai. Haha. Lawak gak tgk.

Tak baik la kan. Tak kesah la baju ko rosak mcm mana pun, bawak2 la bersabar kan. Benda berkaitan ngan majlis perkahwinan. Jangan la over sgt. Mmg byk dugaan ngn cabaran time nak membina masjid kan. Panas je tgk mamat tu. Cakap mcm org tak berpelajaran. Tengking2 org mcm org lain x ada maruah. Mcm dia je yg paling berkuasa. Tuhan lagi berkuasa. Nak je cakap dgn dia mcm ni semlm. Tp nnt cari gado plak. Nnt tak pasal2 Bakal Suami kena bertumbuk demi mempertahankan Bakal Isteri. hehe.

Bakal isteri dia tu, dh tgk mamat tu mcm tu, pikir2 lah dua kali ek. Silap hari bulan lepas kahwin nnt ko plak yg jadi mcm tuan kedai tu. Huhu. Apa daa. Serious x leh terima kebongokkan mamat itu. Tapi efek kejadian tersebut ialah, tuan kedai saaangat baik pada kami. hehe. Takut kami pn mengamuk ke? Kes kes kes…

Entry 67: S.T.R.E.S.S

Ahhh… tekanannnn!!! Only 24 days more to go! Dead lines! Dead lines!

This job is stressing me out. It’s not the work itself, but the location! I need to do a whole bunch of things in Bangi or KL or Kajang and being cooped up here from 8 to 5 and sometimes 6 every freaking day is not helping!

I haven’t sent in the borang for nikah, which have to be sent to Pejabat Agama Hulu Langat, and office hours are usually 9-5 right, so when oh when do I find the time??? I have already exhausted all my replacement leave and I only have enough annual leave left over for my marriage leave. And to think of all the classes I have to replace! Arghhhh~

And now I learn that the tailor who’s supposed to be doing my baju bertandang has quit her job dekat Jalan TAR tu! I have no idea what my baju look like or even if it’s done! What is it’s half done??? Then I have to find some other baju. And fight for the deposit. Waaarghhhh!

And I still have a bunch of stuff to buy and pay for. Where am I gona get all the money??? Thank god the  bulk of the stuff have been paid for, but it’s usually the small things which can add up and become a gazillion of ringgit.

I freaking have to go to class now. I have tons of work to mark. Which I have no idea how to go about by the way, kang aku mark suka suki kena sound ngn boss2 kat australia tu plak. Haishhh…

Oh dugaan dan cubaan. Pray that En Tunang and I both get thru this… 24 days…

Entry 66: Tetiba

I think I have to say this.

Adik beradik kamu tak lawa hokeyh?

Keluarga aku lagi lawa.

Kenapa lah korg rasa korg tu lawa sangat? Nak kondem aku hitam gemok konon.

Ko pikir ko putih kecik ko lawa la?

Putih kecik yang buruk okeh!

At least aku hitam gemok yang menawan.

And so much better looking than you retarded lot. Like literally retarded.

Okeh. Puas hati. Lama sudah mahu luahkan.
